Every morning we shape dough, measure flour, and pull loaves from the oven — then set them beside locally sourced pantry goods you can carry home.
Our Story
The Voo started as a kitchen table and a conviction: that a neighborhood should have somewhere to get bread that tastes like it was made for you, not a shipping schedule.
Today we bake in a small shop on South 2nd Street — sourdough, laminated pastries, seasonal fruit tarts — and we stock a curated selection of groceries from makers we know and trust. If we wouldn't keep it in our own pantry, it doesn't make it onto our shelves.
The Bakery
Country loaves, batards, and focaccia — fermented slow, baked hot, cooled on the rack. Our starter has been feeding the oven for years.
Croissants, pain au chocolat, danish — folded and rolled each morning. Fruit tarts and galettes appear with the season.
Birthday cakes, holiday loaves, or a platter for the office — tell us what you need and we'll make it. Order a day ahead.
The Grocery
We select our groceries the way we select our flour — by reputation and taste. Olive oil from a single estate. Honey from a farm within an hour's drive. Pasta, cheese, preserves, spices, and the small luxuries that make a weeknight feel intentional.
Nothing on our shelves is there because it's easy to stock. It's there because we'd eat it at home.
